What is autism?

As of 2021 I defined Autism in this project as "a lifelong developmental disability which affects how people communicate and interact with the world. It is estimated that one percent of the population is autistic. The representation of autism in media is usually very stereotyped and generally masculine."

Nowadays, there is a lot of research going on to better understand autism and not just enclose it as a disability.
This project was part of the process of me understanding my autism and the world around me. I evolved so much from this perspective but it is still a project I hold very close to my heart.
